Did a fair bit on my Assisi work piece last night. It's amazing how when you are trying to get alot of stitching done, you never seem to get anywhere, but when you just pick it up absently, you seem to wiz through it?? BTW, it's based on a nice floral and bird pattern in "German Renaissance Patterns for Embroidery: A Facsimile Copy of Nicolas Bassée's New Modelbuch of 1568, with an introduction by Kathleen Epstein". Austin: Curious Works Press. It's turning out quite nicely.
