I tried posting this last night but blogspot.com was down. Pharaoh is home from the vet. He was a bit groggy but was much happier once we got home. We got a cuddle this morning so I think we are forgiven.

On the needlework front, I have finished the embroidery on my voided work piece. All I have to do now is finish of the edges. Its going to be a table cloth/runner type thing. I'm not sure how the edging would've been done in period, I might have to wait until I get Schuette via inter library loan. I know it wasn't done like modern Assisi work. Problem is there arn't many extant pieces and what photos there are, I don't have access to.
