Firstly, thanks Linn for updating the blog name on your list!

Secondly, I remember seeing a documentary on the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire. It's hard to imagine how something like that could happen and how it must have affected those who lost someone. Two things in particular from that program stick in my mind, that when the debris was cleared, they found 11 engagement rings in the ash and an all too vivid description of the fire by a newspaper journalist of the time. What is even more frightening is that similar things still happen today, all around the world.

It makes me grateful that my stitching is for pleasure and not necessity.
