It is really boring at work so I've been playing with online family history sites. I just found out that my great, great, great grandmother listed her profession as Ecclesiastical embroiderer!! I know not an unusual profession for a women, but still weird. The daughters living with her at the time of the 1891 Census were both teachers (one language and piano, the other painting and music.

I love this for you! What a find! I've been digging into my geneology and just found a Riggs House 1600s in Glouchester, MA, from my family who was over with the original Plymouth colonies. It seems they were craftsmen and women, as well as landowners from Essex, England.
