Quilt - 1930's Fabrics
This is the progress on the 1930's quilt I am working on. I put in some serious hours and got this done over the long weekend. There are another 3 rows to be added. Then I have to put the white border on and start the applique. I will try and get another pic with better colours in it.

Patchwork
Still having fun doing the family history thing. But boy, is it expensive. If you can, try and have Scottish ancestors, as they have the cheapest records!!
I did one and half rows on my current patchwork project last night. This project has been on the go for years now and I am really wanting to get it finished. It usually doesn't take me this long to do tops. I'd like to have this on the frame for quilting over winter, but once I get the middle section done, which should only take a couple of weeks, I have a whole heap of applique to do, which I haven't done a great deal of. One step at a time.

Alive and Kicking
Hi everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a while. Been on holidays and I maxed out my net access! I haven't been doing anything too thrilling. Lots of reading and TV. Been doing a fair bit of family history stuff. It's fun! No sewing projects on at the moment. I had planned on finishing off a couple of garments that only needed a little bit of work but you know how it is...Anyway, I'm still alive and kicking and should be posting more often. I did have some photos to post, but I can't find my card reader, so I can't get them off the camera!
