Centre Roundal with Shield and Wreath
Was able to spend a fair bit of the day on it today, so that is why so much was done. I was worried I might have to order the missing green that I'd run out of doing the flowers. But I must have ordered it a while ago, because when I checked, it was there, so I was able to start on the wreath. Rather than do all the outlining in black and then do the colour, I'm going to do it in sections - you keep motivated that way I think.

Centre Roundal with Red Complete
Got the red background done. It really does go faster when it's just straight lines back and forth!

Centre Roundal Started
I started doing the centre roundal for my Elizabethan tent stitch hanging. Let's just say the events are Festival motivated me to get this one finished.

Finished Blackwork Caul - Back
This is the finished blackwork caul. It didn't sell at Festival. I finished it off with real fresh water pearls in the diamonds. Offers around A$190 considered. You can see more photos at front view and side view.

Back From Festival 2008
I took my camera but never got around to taking any photos. I will have to see what other people have.
I did market day but it was a bit of a bust. I didn't sell any of the blackwork or the early period woolwork. So I might have to put them up on the web.
I'm in the process of washing and putting everything away. Place is a bit of shambles.
I also know what it's like to have a cat velcroed to my legs!! Bubby was very glad when I got home and never left my side for the whole first day back.

Getting Ready for Festival

Red Blackwork - Interlaced
Another one to sell at Festival. I prewashed the red silk this time. I haven't done that for the black silk, but the red in the Madeira bleeds pretty bad on wet fabric. So with pre-washing, hopefully I've mitigated that a bit. Linen ground in red silk in stem stitch and french knots.
