Scissor Sheath

I finished sewing the scissor sheath together last night and I lined it with some of the red silk I bought on the weekend. The silk is a bit bunched up inside but it works. The scissors fit, which is the best part. Now I have to figure out how I am going to finish it off. I was going to run a length of fingerloop braid all around the outside so that that covered the seams at the side and made a handle all in one go. But when I look at the original its based on, the fingerloop handle is only attached at the top. So I think I will have to do some braid stitch in gold along both side seams and then attach the fingerloop braiding at the top. I am very keen to get this finished.
